The Western Washington Female Hockey Association Board of Directors guides the association to abide by WWFHA, PNAHA, PCAHA and USA Hockey policies.  The Board is voted in by its members and runs the non-profit organization with long term financial and hockey goals in mind.

The Board of Directors is comprised of the executive branch: President, Vice Presidents, Treasurer, and Secretary; and Board Members at Large. It is common to see board members rotate to various executive positions from time-to-time in order to learn the full operation of the organization, and to unsure the strength and longevity of the association for a long time to come.

The Board meets monthly all year, and additionally as needed, and each member contributes an average of 5-10 hours of work per week. Board member terms are two years.
