On February 25th Wild Bird appeared at the Everett SilverTips Mascot Mania Night for the first time on Sunday night!

Wild Bird greeted hockey fans as they entered the building and was overwhelmed by the number of high-fives, fist-bumps, and hugs she received! While posing for photos Wild Bird’s team of ‘handlers’ gave out WWFHA informational cards and ‘I’m A Wild Child’ t-shirts to kids. One fan even asked if Wild Bird is the new mascot for the possible NHL team coming to Seattle!

Wild Bird met some new mascot friends and was particularly excited to meet Lincoln, the Silvertips mascot. Others included: Dinger of the Bellingham Bells, Rhubarb of the Tacoma Rainiers, Webbly of the Everett Aquasox, and more!

During the intermissions Wild Bird participated in races with other mascots and also hockey game with beginners from the Everett Youth Hockey Association. The beginners impressed all with their hockey play!

All in all, Wild Bird was blown away by the reception the amazing fans of the Silvertips gave her.
