On Sunday, February 18th, Wild Bird flew the coop for the first time and met up with her mascot friends from around the Pacific Northwest. She soared down to Showare Center for the annual Seattle Thunderbirds’ Mascot Night. Wild Bird hung out with Doppler of the Seattle Storm, the Mariner Moose, Webbly of the Everett Aquasox, the Ivar's Clam, the T-Bird's very own Cool Bird, and so many more.

Wild Bird greeted fans, young and old, with a lot of high fives, fist bumps, hugs, and photos as they entered into the arena. Wild Bird connected and met with many new fans in the packed building. In the process, Wild Bird’s support team handed out informational postcards and let many new people know what WWFHA is all about.

Wild Bird was then invited to play a hockey game with the wonderful and talented Beginner players from Kent Valley Hockey and Sno-King Amateur Hockey Associations. While she missed a few shots on goal that were sure to beat the Ivar's clam, Wild Bird primarily spent her time trying to keep up with the impressive beginner players.

Wild Bird, the Clam, the Puyallup Fair Duck, the Highline Baseball Bear, and Cool Bird had fun with the fans during the Chuck-a-Puck event during the second intermission. Wild Bird ended the night by throwing t-shirts to her new fans in the crowd and took great delight in seeing those kids sporting their new ‘I'm a Wild Child’ t-Shirts as they left the building. After all this great fun Wild Bird can't wait to make more new friends this weekend at the Everett Silvertips Mascot Night!
