15 Years Celebrated!

Thank you to all who attended WWFHA’s 15th Anniversary event on Sunday September 10th at the Spartan Recreational Center. Players, parents, families, and alumnae attended to help celebrate fifteen years of girls’ hockey with WWFHA!

We’ve come a long way together—we recognize 15 years hard work, dedication and overcoming obstacles to grow to over 120 player-members. While a lot has changed in 15 years, a constant group of people remains that embraces the goal of empowering girls through the sport of hockey so that they may reach their goals and dreams on and off the ice. WWFHA thanks all past, present, and next generation Washington Wild players and WWFHA Family for helping achieve this major accomplishment and continuing in the future.

Additional thanks to special guests who hosted activities and information tables at the event:

  • David Crawford: Floorball guru and coach of the 19U National team
