WWFHA would like to congratulate the Washington Wild players who made the 2014 USA Hockey Pacific District Girls’ Select Tryout.

Bronwyn Jones, Allison Reeb, Laura Stump, Lauren White, Lokelani Antonio, Tirzah Pilet, Anna Stensland

The camp will be held May 9-11, 2014 at Olympicview Arena in Mountlake Terrance, Washington and will include players from Washington State, Alaska, California, Oregon, Hawaii and Nevada. Those selected to move on will advance to the USA Hockey National Girls’ Select Tryout in August.

NCAA scouts/evaluators in attendance are from: Buffalo State, St. Norbert College, Manhattanville College, New England College, and formerly RPI. The strength and conditioning coach for the camp is from Colby and instructors include current players from Wisconsin and Mercyhurst. Other evaluators include Michele Amidon, the USA Hockey ADM Director, and Jenny Potter, former Olympian and head coach at Trinity College, as well as representatives from each state.
