On February 7 and 8th -  Kelly Goscinski, Western Washington Female Hockey Association President, Lisa McNeill, Western Washington Female Hockey Association Coaching Director, Anne-Marie Dion, WWFHA Head Coach 14U Tier II and PNAHA Director of Girls' and Women's Hockey, and Jenn Wood, WWFHA Board Member at Large traveled to Anaheim, California for the first ever USA Hockey Summit designed to empower women through leadership in the hockey space.

There were multiple speakers and presentations who approached the unique areas that girls' and women's hockey occupies. There were also multiple networking and connection sessions that discussed situations affecting varying regions within the US. From traditional hockey markets, to developing hockey markets, the leadership in women's hockey discussed it all. 

We, at WWFHA, hope this to be only the first of its kind with many more opportunities to come.
