The WWFHA Board guides the association to abide by WWFHA, PNAHA, PCAHA and USA Hockey policies. The Board is voted in by its members and runs the non-profit organization with long term financial and hockey goals in mind.
The Board is comprised of the executive branch – President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Registrar – and other board members. It is the board's opinion that volunteers do not stay in one position longer than a few years. It is common to see board members rotate to various executive position from time-to-time in order to learn the full operation of the organization, and to unsure the strength and longevity of the association for a long time to come.
The Board meets monthly all year, and additionally as needed, and each member contributes 15 to 20 hours of work per week. Board member terms are two years.
