U13 A (2012 & 2013 Birth Years)

U13 A Key Season Elements include:

  • Approximately 50 games
    • 30 - 40 PCAHA female league games in the 12U division (only female US association in the Canadian league) - see more below for details on PCAHA
    • 10-20 tournament games (based on league schedule and team interest)
  • 3 on-ice practices each week, dryland conditioning, game film review
  • Elite level coaching 
  • Direct relationships with many of the NCAA DI and DIII, and ACHA teams
  • Pro-Staff support 
    • Hockey-specific conditioning
    • Female hockey nutrition
  • Experience and focus on development.
    • Long-term development, not just short-term success.
    • Development of players in the female game in preparation for high levels of hockey, with female learning styles and methodologies in mind.

WWFHA DUES, TEAM FUND DUES, SOFT COSTS

 

1) DUES & PAYMENT SCHEDULE

  • Fees are paid in full at the start of the season or a small down payment then monthly over 3 months (via automatic debit by Sport Engine).
  • WWFHA fees will cover game related costs including uniform costs, associated PCAHA fees, game ice, ref fees & administrative costs.
  • SJHA fees will cover all practice ice, administrative fees, and applicable insurance.

2) TEAM FUND COSTS

Each U13 Team Fund covers team costs, which are split between all players, and include:

  • coaches' expense
  • tournament fees
  • extra practice or game ice
  • team-decided extras (chocolate milk after games, year-end party, etc.) 

The estimated team fund cost per Rep player will be available upon team registration or by request.

Note: An injured player must continue to pay into the Team Fund, even if she is not playing, except in the case of a season-ending injury.

3) SOFT COSTS

It is wise to also budget for additional 'soft' costs that may be incurred over a season as personal expenses, such as:

  • required team apparel.
  • gas for travel to practices and games.
  • flights and other travel expenses, hotels, meals.
