Beginner Classes: April-June 2017 OPEN

OVERVIEW - HOCKEY 1 and HOCKEY 2

Western Washington Female Hockey Association (WWFHA)'s Beginner Washington Wild Program is a program for females to learn to skate and play hockey, ages 4 to 9 years old* at Highland Ice Arena - Shoreline.

See Details and Registration On This Page Below for:

(1) Hockey 1 - Learn to Skate and Basic Hockey Skills

(2) Hockey 2 - Learn to Skate and Play Hockey

These classes are based on USA Hockey's ADM model. Each class can be taken over and over again until the player feels like she has mastered the basics, and is ready to move to the next level, and before she is assigned to a team.

WWFHA creates a supportive and positive girl-centric environment for learning the skills, techniques, systems and strategies of the female hockey game... in a fun and entertaining way! Come join us on the ice!

* no matter your age, we will try to find a way for you to learn to play.

A QUOTE FROM A PARENT ABOUT THE PROGRAM + PHOTOS

"... the Wild coaches were amazing with the first-time skaters – so encouraging, patient and helpful -- they specialized in helping girls that were on the ice for the first time. By the second practice she was feeling better and more comfortable and it was a different story -- she had a blast.

I was even more impressed with how my oldest excelled in all-girl hockey."
